Are you currently accepting clients?

Yes! I am currently accepting clients in person or via telehealth. If you are interested in scheduling an appointment, you can reach out to me here.

How long are sessions?

Therapy sessions are typically 55 minutes long meeting on a weekly or bi-weekly basis depending on the client’s needs.

How long will the process take?

The length of time in therapy will depend on the individual client’s unique circumstances and goals. The therapist and client will determine the treatment plan together.

How much does it cost?

New Roads Counseling offers mental health therapy ranging in cost from $175/55 minute session - $210/intake appointment. Session fees are charged at the close of the session via the credit card on file. $100 is charged for appointments not canceled with at least a 24 hour notice.

What insurance do you accept?

I am credentialed with First Choice, MODA, PacificSource Health Care and Community Solutions as well as Oregon Health Plan and able to bill these insurance companies directly on behalf of clients. I am currently in the process of being credentialed with Regence BlueCross BlueShield of Oregon as well. It is important to be aware of specifics regarding your out-of-pocket costs, such as deductibles/co-pays as these differ for individuals.

Referrals?

If for any reason I believe that I do not have the experience, training or knowledge to help you toward your goals, I will refer you to another professional who is adequately trained to help you succeed.

What are the benefits and risks of therapy?

Your participation in counseling, unless ordered by a court of law, is voluntary. You will be engaged in determining treatment goals, discontinue counseling, or request a referral to another counselor at any time. While there are many benefits to counseling, it is not a guaranteed cure. What is discussed in counseling may bring to the surface uncomfortable or distressing feelings. This can be a productive and healing part of counseling, but it can also be temporarily disruptive to one’s life.
