About

a little about me

Meet Rayne

Like everyone, it’s been a journey to get to where I am today. From a young age I knew I was a helper, I always felt a strong pull to show up for other people and offer what I could. I’ve always seen it as an honor and a privilege to support people as they grow and develop.

I had the pleasure of partnering with families in the Bend community as a School Counselor for 15 years prior to starting New Roads Counseling. During that time I walked alongside youth of all ages and fully enjoyed the ride. I transitioned with the goal of being able to more deeply engage with the individuals I serve.

I provide Individual Therapy for adults and adolescents in a private practice setting. While the majority of services are in person, it is possible to conduct appointments via telehealth for clients who are out of town or ill.

My philosophy

It is my belief that emotional distress due to challenges in life is a common human experience and not one to fear. Seeking therapy to travel through challenges is a vulnerable and brave decision. I believe individuals are resilient and have the capacity to find their own solutions and create a life worthy of higher quality of life. This involves an attuned and trusting relationship, a safe space, and the willingness to adapt and change as we learn.

I commit to walking by your side through this journey. I aim to serve as a safe and familiar place where you can arrive to nurture, explore and receive services that benefit you in thriving. Together we can find the best strategies to give you relief from your distress and to help you gather the skills, knowledge and insight necessary to move forward.

When I’m not with clients, I am very often with my family and friends. I have a wonderfully supportive partner and three amazing children who bring me significant joy and regular opportunities for growth. Nature is where I feel most alive so I do my best to be out exploring as often as possible. I also find great value in regular yoga, meditation and breathwork to remain grounded along the way.
